Een rustiek gebouwde bugalow met een ruim eigen terras Approximately 280 miles from Calais and 110 miles south east from Paris lies the village of Mesnil st. Pére and the lake Fôret d'Oriënt.

Here you will find 6 county style, back to basic holiday bungalows near to the edge of the village Mesnil st. Pére. This is a real chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and recharge the batteries. The bungalows are situated in their own grounds in a quiet setting on the side of the lake with spectacular views across both the blue lake and surrounding forests.

Recreational possibilities are in abundance both next to the bungalows and within walking distance. Beside the bungalows there is a private play area for the children with the lake itself providing endless recreation possibilities such as sailing, fishing, swimming, windsurfing and many other things. On the large lake there are only 3 places where you can fish for carp at night, one of those is directly opposite the bungalows.

Approx. half a miles walk will take you to the local beach with a variety of restaurants and snack bars. There are also beautiful nature reserves where you can take country walks or go cycling.

The local village has a population of approx. 350 occupants and has many historical buildings and churches to visit. The villages are traditional and petite where you will still find 'real farmers' continuing with the traditions of old style farming. They cultivate all kinds of vegetables and breed cattle ensuring that today's industry cannot disturb their surroundings which makes the area hospitable and welcoming to visit.
